WOMEN's BUSINESS CONFERENCE 2026

The recent Women’s Business Conference 2026, hosted by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by mfg Legal Services Limited, took place at the wonderful Stanbrook Abbey Hotel in Worcester.

The event brought together business professionals from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire for a day of connection, learning and discussion.

The speaker line-up included Lucja Wyrwantowicz, England Blind Women's Football Player, Jo Sheppard CEO of Bosch Home Comfort UK, Dr Julia Sen Consultant Surgeon and founder of Dr. Julia Sen Health and Wellness Clinics and Jo Millington, Director of Spatter/ED.

Each inpiring speaker shared their stories of the leadership, resilience, wellbeing and tenacity that they have shown throughout their careers so far.

You only need to read some of the posts on social media to realise that events like this are vital in giving people the space to connect, grow and celebrate each others successes.

Here are some of the incredibly generous comments that participants posted on Linked In following Jo's presentation:

"... the highlight for me was hearing Jo Millington talk about her fascinating career in forensic science."
"Jo Millington, a true expert in forensic science, whose lifetime of knowledge, experience and dedication to the profession was inspiring. Her openness and unwavering determination about overcoming prejudice as a woman and breaking barriers made her story even more powerful. Combined with her wonderful humour, support for Inside Justice and obvious love of dogs, she had the whole room captivated. 🐶 what an incredible woman!"

"Jo Millington. Wow. What a woman. She is incredible, unique, and someone I truly want my daughters to know. And she loves dogs, so already I was a fan. But I can't do her justice in a small mention like this so follow her, because she has something coming soon that every woman will want to engage with. Thank you for all you have done for justice and for womens rights."

We asked Jo for her response to the comments:

Where do I start?! It was an absolute honour for me to be a small part of a massive group of strong inspiring women at the Women's Business Conference in the first place, but then to see the comments from participants in the days and weeks afterwards really blew me away! I was so thankful for having the opportunity to attend and I am so grateful to those that took the time to share their experiences and keep the conversations going long after the event. It was a really good day for women in business.

Thank you to everyone that supported the Women's Business Conference 2026!
