CRIME CON LONDON

It usually takes us a while to process the experience of CrimeCon, and London 2025 has been no exception!

This year, in collaboration with Millington Hingley, and a bunch of amazing volunteers, we developed a new interactive CrimeLive experience to raise awareness of the small but impactful charity Inside Justice. Then, bright and early on Saturday morning, an army of volunteers (some of whom had not met before) magically appeared and shared their time, enthusiasm and positivity throughout the weekend and delivered back to back sessions to an engaged audience of true crime enthusiasts.

As part of the 'Women in Crime: Breaking Barriers in Justice' event, Jo joined a panel of exceptional women from law enforcement and corrections, criminal profiling and forensic psychology as they discussed their experiences working in crime and justice.

Then on Sunday, in a poignant and thought-provoking session, Jo delivered 'Miscarriage of Justice: A Post Mortem' to packed room. Taking the audience on a deep dive into a real case, and through the appeal and retrial process, Jo explained how forensic science deciphered the hidden story of a wrongful conviction and helped to correct a miscarriage of justice.

We also took the opportunity to seek out any four-legged contributors to CrimeCon ... and we're pleased to report that we didn't have to look far! The Railway Dogs Benevolent Fund is an independent charity associated with the British Transport Police dog section and formed to support the welfare costs of retired police dogs. It's a good cause also supported by Bracken, our chief BPA Dog!

It was a weekend of diverse and insightful sessions from inspiring presenters. Thank you to everyone that popped by to say hello and thank you to CrimeCon London - you were EPIC!
